In the last Saturday of June was the 24th edition of the UAD Gala Fashion Design. This annual fashion show that features the best collections designed by the fresh graduates from the Fashion Design Bachelor and Master programs from the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca took place in a new location – the elegant Platinia Commercial Gallery. The show brought together the best of the Romanian fashion academia and business. Everyone was eager to enjoy and be surprised by the innovative work of the up-and-coming talents.
For the second consecutive year, Tempting Brands contributed to the UAD Gala by sponsoring the event, and by recognizing the talent with two personal awards.
The ROUTE 66 prize by Tempting Brands has been awarded to Mădălina Stan for the collection entitled EON. Her play with dimensions and the fusion between the authentic and the new, make the designs an expression of the same timeless spirit that characterizes the ROUTE 66 brand.
The collection In my secret garden, with its sensitive and romantic take on classical beauty and simplicity, embodies perfectly the Marie-Antoinette brand. Therefore, the Marie-Antoinette prize was awarded to the talented creator of this collection, Paula Clitan.
